FAQ

  • How is the workshop structured?

    There will be two three-hour virtual live sessions. June 20 and June 27, 2022. Each session will meet from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. CST. A zoom link will be emailed prior to the workshop beginning. Additional resources and group discussions will be available within the course platform along with recordings from the live sessions.

  • How will I be supported?

    In addition to real-time support during the live sessions. your instructors will also be available to answer questions via the discussion tool and will provide feedback on assignments that are submitted. Additional support hours can also be purchased on an as needed basis.

  • Do I need any specific software?

    While this workshop is focused on using Vyond to create your videos, any video creation software can be used. If you don't have a software that you are currently using, speak with one of the instructors for a link to a 14-day free trial of Vyond.

Learning Experience Designer Jacqueline Hutchinson

I LOVE sharing information, especially information about learning, development and employee performance improvement. I’m also a dedicated lifelong learner – I spend a lot of time every day reading, researching and learning new and exciting things. Some of them I’ll bring to you through the courses I teach, others I’ll put into practice to grow my business. I hold a Bachelor of Education, Adult Education from Brock University, and a BA with a declared Legal Studies Option from the University of Waterloo. Learning Experience Designer Mary Nunaley

Mary Nunaley is an ATD certified Master Instructional Designer, ATD certified eLearning Course Developer, and an award-winning course developer. Along with her son, Amadeus, she started the Lavender Dragon Team to help small and medium businesses bring their online courses to life by creating engaging and interactive courses that put the fun back into learning. Mary brings a sense of playfulness and passion to everything she does and is always asking why is this happening and how can we improve it? She graduated with her Master’s in Education from Cal State East Bay and a Bachelor’s in History from DePaul University in Chicago.
